Windows Package Factory is a Smart Package Robot service operated by Theo Gottwald / IT-Berater.org; enquiries use info@it-berater.org for that reason.
2. Scope
This notice applies to the pages under /windows-package-factory/. They use no advertising trackers, analytics, embedded third-party media or non-essential cookies.
3. Hosting and server logs
When a page is requested, the hosting infrastructure may process the IP address, date and time, requested resource, referrer, browser and operating-system information to deliver the site and maintain security. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and reliable operation under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Server-log data is normally deleted or anonymised within 14 days unless a security event requires longer evidence retention.
4. Pilot enquiry and email
The enquiry page works locally in your browser and prepares an email in your own email application. The page does not itself upload the form entries to a third-party form provider. Data is transmitted to us only when you send that email.
We process the business contact details and enquiry content to respond, assess technical fit and take pre-contractual steps (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Where a company employee or representative contacts us, we also rely on our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Providing data is voluntary, but we cannot review an enquiry without a contact, company and sufficient scope information.
Please do not send installers, credentials, licence keys, personal datasets or trade secrets by email. If a confirmed engagement needs a file, we will provide separate protected transfer instructions.
5. Recipients and international transfers
Access is limited to persons and service providers who need the data for hosting, email, IT support or handling the enquiry. We do not sell enquiry data. Where a service provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, transfer takes place only under an applicable adequacy decision or suitable safeguards under Articles 44–49 GDPR.
6. Retention
If no contract is concluded, enquiry data is normally deleted no later than six months after the enquiry is closed, unless it remains necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. If a contract is concluded, contractual and accounting records are retained for the applicable statutory periods.
7. AI support and decisions
AI may assist with structuring requirements and preparing work artefacts. We do not make solely automated decisions about accepting an enquiry, setting a binding price, entering a contract, approving a release or deploying to production.
8. Your rights
Subject to the statutory conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also complain to a data-protection supervisory authority. The competent authority in Baden-Württemberg is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg.
9. Security and updates
We use HTTPS and organisational safeguards appropriate to the risk. This notice is updated when the processing or legal requirements change.
